- 4 Tbsp butter, cold
- 1 ½ cups flour
- 3 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ⅔ - 1 cup buttermilk
Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
Cut in butter and add buttermilk until you reach a doughy consistency.
Turn batter onto floured surface and, using your hands, flatten dough till it is roughly ½ inch thick.
Using a circular cookie cutter or the open end of a glass, cut circles out of the dough.
Place on a baking sheet and bake at 400 degrees for 10 mins or until bottoms are browned.
