Grandma’s Chicken Fried Rice
- 2 chicken breast, cooked and diced
- ½ cup onion, diced
- 3 stalks celery, diced
- 1 can mushrooms, drained (I find this optional as I’m not a huge fan of mushrooms so if I end up putting them in it’s usually 2 fresh mushrooms sliced.)
- 2 cups rice, cooked (my grandma uses white but I use basmati and my mother uses jasmine and they all taste great in the recipe)
- ¼ cup oil
- Soya sauce
- Salt (optional depending on the saltiness of your soya sauce)
Put about ¼ cup of oil in frying pan.
Fry onion and celery a couple minutes.
Add cooked chicken and mushrooms and cooked rice.
Mix together with soya sauce, to your liking, fresh pepper and salt if you want
